Hello down there! 👣 Now your feet are going to get some love (and softness!)

Hello down there! 👣 Now your feet are going to get some love (and softness!)

They carry us every day, but are far too rarely thanked. Now is the time to lubricate, scrub and pamper – with Kamillebalsam, Panterbalsam and Vossabia's wonderful foot tips!

Okay, let's just admit it. It's not that easy to talk about feet.

There are a lot of things about them. Sometimes they hurt. Sometimes they feel hard and rough, and it's embarrassing to show up barefoot. Sometimes they smell... and the older we get, the further away from the rest of the body they seem to be – at least for those who can no longer reach all the way down 😅

China is an exception who often has their feet on top of their body, hehe.

Let's pay homage to our feet! ❤️

How often do you actually talk to friends or colleagues about your feet? It's not the typical topic we bring up, perhaps. People often get a little uncomfortable because unfortunately many people dislike their feet.

But these feet are absolutely incredible! They carry us through life, keep us balanced and grounded, and are full of energy points that affect the entire body.

As Leonardo da Vinci said: "The human foot is a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art."

So let's pay tribute to this work of art – and give your feet some of the love they deserve.

So here are some fabulous Vossabia tips to keep them soft, supple, fresh and deliciously scented 🌸

🌸 1. Daily washing and drying – small steps that make a big difference

Wash your feet thoroughly every day, preferably right before bed, so they're ready for the next step of lovemaking. Yes, it sounds obvious – but it's easy to skip it when bed is calling!

Feel free to use a natural and cleansing soap such as The forest on your body , and take extra care between your toes where fungi like to grow.

Dry thoroughly – your feet will thank you with better smell, softer skin and less irritation.

Let your skin and hair enjoy plants from wild plants and the forest with this practical travel set with Shampoo with wild herbs and Forest on the body soap.

💛 2. Chamomile balm – the foot hero for 21 years!

A simple but magical bedside routine: lubricate heels, toes and the whole foot Chamomile balm – our natural hero for 21 years!

This extremely effective softening, antibacterial and antifungal balm has saved thousands of feet from hard heels, cracks, athlete's foot and rough skin.

Afterwards, you slip into bed with warm, well-groomed feet that smell mildly of flowers and nature – and you'll sleep better with soothing chamomile on your feet, guaranteed 🌼

(See the real experiences from satisfied customers below – they speak for themselves!)

💡 PS: Our delicious product Soft Hands actually works absolutely fabulously on feet too – they become soft as silk!

🌿 3. Foot bath and scrub – pleasure and health in one

A warm foot bath with Epsom salt, herbs and a little Citrus Body Scrub or Spice Body Scrub gives your feet a mini spa at home.

Organic cane sugar and honey from our own bees scrub away old skin, while the herbs nourish and soften.

It increases blood circulation, gives a completely wonderful feeling – and makes you feel lighter in your body. And then your legs will be incredibly soft after scrubbing with our body scrubs!

Witch spa with Vossabia is fun! Foot bath, scrub, face mask and lots of laughter and joy!

🌱 4. Deodorant on the feet

A natural deodorant with herbs that Thyme and Sage are perfect for those who struggle with foot sweat or odor.

Both of these plants are powerful antibacterial and antifungal. Feel free to apply a little extra between your little toe and its neighbor – where the fungus likes to thrive.

I make sure to do it when I'm going on long flights or wearing tight, sticky shoes.

And it's great to rub some thyme and sage between my toes after I've been swimming in the pool, as all public places can be breeding grounds for fungus.

🦶 5. Foot massage, zones and foot oiling – deep-acting care

Our feet aren't just for walking and balance – they are gateways to the entire body!

Through reflexology, we know that every part of the body is reflected in the feet. When you massage your feet, you actually stimulate your entire system – from digestion to sleep and hormones.

In several traditions, this is called foot-oiling: oiling the feet to stabilize the body and relieve stress.

The touch, heat and oil have a direct effect on the nervous system and cause the body to let go. It helps with overthinking, worry, sleep problems and restlessness, among other things.

💫 My herbalist colleague from the USA said it so well: "Rub your feet, oil your feet – you access so much of your body through your feet."

When you massage your feet, you reset your nervous system.

It is especially powerful in the fall and winter – when nature retreats inward, we should also nourish, lubricate, and ground ourselves.

However, it's not just the touch and pressure on the zones that affect the body and mind, but also what vegetable oil you use.

If you need less stress, calm down, or better sleep – then oils made from chamomile, St. John's wort, or, for example, hops are great oils to use.

💚 Tips: If you wake up at night and can't sleep – rub your feet in the middle of the night – with, for example, Chamomile Balm. Warm your hands a little, rub and give warmth and plant power to your feet and thus the whole body. It stabilizes the body and calms the mind, and sleep may come to you more easily.

🔥 Panther balm – the power that brings tired feet to life

After I learned about foot-oiling , I discovered that I had actually had the perfect product in my hands for years: Vossabia's Panther Balm.

This powerful balm has saved my feet countless times – especially after long days on my feet or weekends spent standing at the market.

The herbs in Panther Balm – rosemary, camphor, eucalyptus and mint – increases blood circulation, reduces pain, warms, and at the same time provides a refreshing cooling lightness.

When you massage your feet with it, feel how the good feeling spreads, how tension releases, and how your body calms down.

💆 Do you want to make a little extra out of it?

  1. Start with a warm foot bath – preferably with herbs or a little oil. Finish with a scrub.
  2. Dry your feet well.
  3. Gently massage in with Panther Balm (or Chamomile Balm for an extra softening effect)
  4. Gently massage the entire sole of the foot, the heel, the ankles and a little up the calves.
  5. Put on your socks and lie down – your feet and body will thank you.

💡 For the elderly in the family, this is gold: a warm oil foot bath and gentle massage work wonders – both physically and emotionally. It's care in practice. Maybe a Christmas gift idea for someone in the family?

✨ Detoxifying foot wrap

And then – for those who want to go even deeper:

Here is my herbalist colleague's recipe for a simple but powerful detoxifying foot wrap that extracts waste and gives circulation a real boost.

You need:
  • ¼ cup bentonite clay (or rasul or kaolin clay which you can get at sunvita.no)
  • 1 tsp ginger powder or 1 tbsp fresh, finely grated ginger
  • Warm water, gauze, and socks
How to do it:
  • Mix into a thick paste, apply under your feet, wrap and put on socks.
  • Let it work overnight, or at least 3 hours if you're short on time.
  • Rinse off in the morning – and feel the difference!
Use 2–3 times a week to support detoxification and circulation, especially when you feel heavy or tired.
