Emil & Vossabia 20 years! 🐝🐝

So I thought I'd start this year by giving 20% off the fantastic basic and universal products in the Emil's Favorites package 🐝🌼

And then we'll celebrate the rest of the year, since Vossabia is turning 20 (and I'll actually be 50 this summer 😅🥂) with various news, offers, and an amazing party seminar that celebrates nature, wholeness, diversity, gardening and ecology and everything that Vossabia is so passionate about 🐝💚

But, first down the memory path with my Emil and Vossabia. My two first children 🥰

Emil actually attended vocational beekeeping school while he was inside my womb 🤰, and when he was 9 weeks old, the two of us went on a beekeeping excursion by minibus to Vestfold. Great fun for all the beekeepers with such a bee mascot on the trip! 🐝

🐣 At 6 months old, he had already helped move beehives to beautiful purple heather patches on the coast, and we just placed him in the heather while we worked and headed off.

It got dramatic pretty quickly too, because I got a lot of bee stings the day after my 30th birthday 😣 and I had a serious allergic reaction and had to rush to the hospital for adrenaline and to actually survive (20th anniversary of my first anaphylactic reaction too! 😅). Then I got a little stressed out by the sounds of insects the next few days, and we spontaneously booked a trip to Mallorca to calm down a bit 💆‍♀️ So because of the beekeeping and the Vossabiamamsen, Emil had to get his first passport and fly at 6 months old 👶🏼

And that's how it's continued. Lots of action, craziness, fun and always close to nature and people all over the country at markets and fairs. Emil and I, and later Ylva, 🐝 the three bee musketeers, had a blast driving a box truck and driving around promoting honey and skin products 🚐 and not least getting to talk to people and tell stories. What and why we are doing it.

With a mother who is more than average interested in nature and plants, bees and flowers 👩‍🌾, Emil has had many close-up nature experiences, and some maybe a little too close 😅 Not everything has been to his taste in his mother's experiments, so to speak. Juice with nettle and honey, not his favorite!

He was also very skeptical when NRK Super wanted him to be in Dyrevenn too, but with a little coercion from his mother 😜, it turned out to be an incredibly fun experience, and not least educational as he got an insight into TV production at a very young age 👏 Many children were completely starstruck when they saw him afterwards, so he got to experience a little celebrity life, and there are still people who mention these episodes to him. Fun and not least good TV!

The first Vossabia skin products quickly became Emil's companions through thick and thin, and these are Emil's favorites : Calendula Balm , Panterbalsam and Kamillebalsam . It's a bit small to be a model for them as a young teenager.

But, he has benefited from these so much! Not least when he went so violently on the face on the gravel road here, at full speed on his bike 🚴‍♂️💨 and peeled off the skin on his forehead and hairline! 😰 Terrible experience! But, after a week of Calendula Balm It was so incredibly much better, and there was never any scarring, amazingly enough! Magical Calendula ! 💫

👉 Panther balm for everything from painful growing pains to sore training muscles and not least mosquitoes and midges 🦟 in the military now, no wonder he loves our basic products!

👉 Chamomile balm is used for everything all the time. For normal skin, sensitive skin, hard, dry, cracked and itchy skin among others. It is great as a night cream, foot cream or after-sun ointment for example.

And both Chamomile Balm and Calendula Balm Both Emil and I have received countless feedback on the markets about how effective they are for many people with eczema! 🙌

There are so many good memories from all the trips we have had together, the many miles we have driven with Vossabia packed in and out and in and out of the van 🚐 But, even though the market was always exciting with new places and lots of new games and friends for the kids, the car trips themselves were also magical ✨ With audiobooks on the speakers and beautiful scenery on the trips. We constantly had to stop and take pictures to immortalize the experiences along the way.

He has been trained in marketing since birth 👩‍👦 and when he got the job a couple of years ago, all he had to do was send him off to the Farmers' Market and other places on his own. Lucky are those who meet Emil at a stand, as a customer recently said in Bergen: "you'll be looking for a more pleasant, capable and charming young man for a long time!" 🥰
