Chamomile can do a huge number of different things for us, from calming the nervous system, relieving muscle tension, addressing cold and flu symptoms, to supporting good digestion, reducing inflammation and inhibiting fungus. There are quite a few amazing properties packed into a tiny, delicate flower 🌼 And those are actually just some of them! Oh my goodness, so many ways we use chamomile, both internally as a tea, and not least on the skin for a thousand and one things! 💚
Many people know about chamomile, but far fewer know how many benefits there are with this thin, slightly delicate plant. I will now tell you more about the super herb and then I will share a great chamomile oil recipe that you can try out at home! 💆♀️
💛 Chamomile benefits for the nervous system!
Chamomile is great at supporting the nervous system and thus relieving stress, anxiety and promoting calm and good sleep 😴 Drinking a strong cup of chamomile tea is like getting a warm and soothing hug from someone you love 🤗 Halfway through the cup, I notice that my shoulders lower, my breathing becomes deeper, and my body relaxes more. In our stressful world, this chamomile hug can be a saving angel. The chamomile balm that I developed 19 years ago is also a truly wonderful embrace! Fantastic to have on your bedside table to lubricate your feet, neck, forehead before you go to sleep. 🌃
It is not a new discovery that chamomile is so good for our nervous systems, because for many centuries herbalists have used chamomile for calm and good sleep for both children and adults. And an exciting thing: the more you use, the more effective and noticeable results ✨
Researchers have also shown interest in chamomile, and there are exciting, positive results in clinical studies that have looked at the plant's ability to manage anxiety and depression, and delicate chamomile reduces tension in the nervous system.
Chamomile for muscle tension, cramps and pain 🤦
Imagine how this little flower can relieve the stress that builds up in our muscles! Do you have muscle tension related to stress (ah, yes!) or simply muscle tension that leads to pain? Herbalists and naturopaths Around the world, people have seen how chamomile can, for example, relieve menstrual cramps, as well as headaches caused by tension in the back and neck 🤩 This is incredibly exciting, and very worth testing out, if you have our Chamomile Balm on your shelf.
👉 Chamomile balm , or chamomile oil , which you can find a recipe for below 😉, is worth trying out if you have carpal tunnel syndrome too ✋ A pilot study that examined chamomile in this context, among other things, concluded that chamomile oil improves symptomatic and functional status in patients with the painful carpal tunnel syndrome. I have now put a friend on a chamomile cure for her ailments related to this syndrome. She will get chamomile hugs and chamomile cuddles and chamomile love many times a day from now on as her own little "study" 💚 Linda is working a lot here at the moment, and then I need to keep her in good shape and plan for chamomile both inside and out Linda to do the trick against pain and keep her bubbly and super effective as usual 🌼
Chamomile used for muscle tension and pain can be taken internally as a tea or tincture, but can also be used externally on painful areas as an ointment (we recommend the world's best Chamomile Balm ), or as an infused oil (see the recipe for you! 👇)
My employee, Linda, who I'm trying to heal with LOTS of chamomile tea every day, AND Chamomile Balm on her sore hands. In fact, she's already noticing some improvement, so that's great! So we'll continue the "study" and see if it can work over time! 🤩🙌
💛 Chamomile for colds and flu
Chamomile is really underrated here, I think. If you drink a really strong and hot chamomile tea, it can seem soothing and help you rest, but exciting: chamomile's relaxing properties can naturally help the body release excess heat (fever) from the skin. Herbalists refer to specific symptoms for chamomile for fever when the person feels hot, is irritable, has aches and pains, and just wants to rest and sleep it off 💆 THEN all you have to do is turn on the kettle and brew really strong chamomile tea 🫖
Chamomile can also work well for dry coughs at the end of an illness, and then it is nice to combine with, for example , violet or thyme , or actually marshmallow herb .
💛 Chamomile for everyone and for everything possible!
