We are of course a little incompetent, BUT, it strikes me every time I try other lip balms: Vossabia's lip balms really stand out 👄 Incredibly soft on the lips, not too dry like many are, not sticky, absolutely perfect in consistency, lasts a long time on the lips, gives a nice shine, and they are super nourishing and healing.
 Dry lips, mouth ulcers, chapped lips, and even herpes… there have been so many great reviews over the past 20 years. But, it's not that strange, because most lip balms (like Lypsyl) are paraffin and petroleum jelly-based, which blocks and dries out the skin, and gives a false feeling of having moisturized and soft lips.
Our lip balms were developed after I attended a fun course in Trondheim in 2003: Workshop course for women in the beekeeping community! 🐝 At the time, I only had different types of honey on the market, and I had been wondering how to communicate the properties of the amazing beeswax. Lip balms were a perfect start and a great way to use our beeswax 🍯 So I immediately started researching and developing and came up with this, the world's best lip balm recipe 🤩

After a short time, feedback poured in praising Lavender Lips and Mint Lips , and there was a clear message from many customers: You need to make more and bigger ones, because the lip balms worked on eczema, psoriasis, herpes, fungus and I don't even remember everything that was reported at once 😅 Hehee. Very fun and inspiring, and that's how Vossabia's skincare series was kicked off by customer demand! 💫🐝

👉 DRY LIPS
All our lip balms are great for dry lips. And now in the winter with cold and dry air, lips automatically become drier. Then the trick is not to lick your lips , that dries them out more, but rather apply the world's best lip balm 😘 Make sure to drink enough water, so you keep your body, skin and lips hydrated from the inside out and 💧
If you want soft, hydrated lips without color, Lavender Lips and Mint Lips are just the best! Mint Lips comes in a new look now, with a green label! I figured it needed to be refreshed now in its 20th year, and become green like mint! 💚🌿 What do you think?

 👉 LIP SCRUB!
Have you heard that there are lip scrubs? Great for getting even softer lips! 🪶 But, did you know that if you have one Vossabia citrus scrub on your shelf, you actually have a perfect lip scrub ready to use! It's edible (Emil grew up dipping his finger in the body scrub and slurping up this delicious scrub 😂), and it's actually important that a lip scrub is edible, because it's quite likely that you'll get something inside your lips and 😋 So I recommend scrubbing lightly and gently with the citrus scrub and then rinsing with water.
💡 Benefits of using a lip scrub twice a week:
- The obvious benefit is that light scrubbing removes dead skin, giving you soft lips and a smoother pout 😉
- Regular gentle scrubbing can also improve the tone of the lips and help remove any discoloration on the lips.
