Yes, I can thank good customers for this discovery! The multi-purpose ointment Panterbalsam , which I make with beeswax, and organic oils of eucalyptus, rosemary and camphor, among others, has proven to be terrifying for the little bugs! 🦟 🐜 They simply don't like the strong scents!
Every summer there is a lot of feedback on this, from people who finally enjoy the evening on the veranda, or can finally enjoy the sunset on the rocky cliff. Or like me: when customers taught me this application, it was only me who didn't come to my eldest son's football games 👍 I hope it will work for you too!!
Yes, and of course it's already in the hiking bag, to lubricate stiff thighs after a hike, against sore knees, dry lips and stuffy noses. Panther balm is one of our favorites, absolutely invaluable to us 😊🐝 👍
I developed this over 18 years ago, as a salve for all kinds of aches and pains. I never thought that a few years later I would get so much feedback from customers that Panterbalsam is fantastic at keeping mosquitoes, gnats and ticks away. 🦟 How cool is that? It's so fun to learn from great customers!
Panther balm is great to take with you on a hammock trip! Mosquitoes and gnats hate the strong herbs, and we love them! 👍😊 Panther balm is also available in a small box, only 15 ml, easy to fit in your bag.
You don't need to apply it all over your face and body. Apply a little here and there, almost in small patches, and that's usually enough to keep mosquitoes, midges and ticks away. This is because of the strong oils in it, which many insects hate. (It's only on the Hardangervidda plateau that I don't get a super effect against the crazy mosquitoes there, but it helps to apply a little more to the face and neck, and even a little on the lapel) I actually put these herbs together to stimulate and increase blood circulation for aches and pains, but there were many other great benefits as well.🤩
💚 Eucalyptus can be great against insects, but it is also antispasmodic, pain-relieving and warms up cold joints.🔥 The incredible eucalyptus tree can actually grow over 100 meters tall (in Australia), and Aborigines have used the leaves from the large tree for many centuries as medicine.
💚 Camphor is insect repellent, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and reduces itching, and this tree can be over 1000 years old!
Panther balm can therefore effectively relieve itching, and is known for its often rapid effect on muscle pain and pain from tendonitis . Feedback also includes relief from nerve pain, rheumatic pain, inflammation, cramps, menstrual pain, varicose veins, sore throat, headaches or growing pains in children. Indispensable after hard training and other hard muscle work. 💪 And much, much more, the list is long!
This balm can actually be good for your psyche, for example, because 💚rosemary is considered uplifting and nerve-strengthening, a natural and fragrant antidepressant.
Panther balm is a little natural pharmacy in itself🧡
We are back from North Cyprus, and now we are going to enjoy the summer in Norway (as in the picture below at Trollveggen in 2020). Panther balm in the backpack, and I am ready!! ⛰️🐝
And maybe I'll brew myself tea of the same super herbs in Panterbalsamen to keep in your thermos. Try it too! ☕👍 Make an incredibly tasty, refreshing and stimulating tea with a mixture of peppermint, rosemary, eucalyptus leaves (if you have this plant as a small potted plant/bush then – I got it at the lovely Berge gard & gartneri in Tørvikbygd), and add some rose buds/leaves, or some licorice root .
If you don't have everything, it would be great with some of the plants too, and especially fun if you can go out into the garden/terrace and bring them in. I love the taste, the digestion, the calming effect and all the good these plants do for emotional well-being.🧡
Also reminds me of my decent deluxe summer package offer that covers most needs🤩👇👇
