Today I want to talk about dry mucous membranes, itching, eczema, fungus, hemorrhoids, tears in the vagina and blocked milk ducts to name a few. In addition, I want to talk a little about the terrible skin disease lichen sclerosus, which unfortunately affects more vaginas than we think. Finally, I want to give you a good tip about breast massage! Something everyone should definitely start with🍒 👍 How often do you hear that women should touch their breasts more? Very rarely, and that's exactly why I want to talk about it!
I would like to share tips and information about some of Vossabia's natural products that I have personally found to be great for various women's ailments, and that customers have been telling me about for many years. I hope this information will be useful to many of my wonderful customers!
My dear chamomile balm 💖, sometimes I wonder what this is not good for! But, in this context, I want to talk about the good properties it has against vaginal and anal itching, vaginal yeast infection, stretch marks, the vagina before and after pregnancy, heavy and sweaty breasts, and not least lichen sclerosus.
Chamomile is known for its antifungal and anti-itch properties, and our super healthy chamomile balm can be safely used in the genital area. I have received so many feedbacks from customers who tell me how itching in the genital area has disappeared, and this is something I have experienced myself. At the end of my last pregnancy and after giving birth, I experienced intense itching in the genital area, and it drove me crazy! Just before I was about to click, I realized that I make products that people use for itching, why don't I use them now? I threw myself on chamomile balm and smeared myself, and oh my! Then I combined it with panther balm, both smeared around the glory front and back and it worked great with great relief from the crazy itching! Chamomile balm is also good for preventing cracks during childbirth: smear yourself well and often with this during pregnancy, then your genital area is prepared for so and so. I would also dare to say that chamomile balm is the main reason why I haven't torn during any of my three births. And, if you have vaginal yeast infection, it can be safely used both externally and internally, it has definitely helped me with annoying vaginal yeast infection.
As mentioned, I have received very touching and positive feedback that chamomile balm can also be helpful against the chronic skin condition lichen sclerosus. It most often affects the skin in the genital area with intense itching, skin that becomes thinner, stiffer and gradually almost curls. Women often experience severe itching on the labia, clitoris and around the anus, while men (who can also get this), experience changes in the skin on the penis head and foreskin (so I also recommend that men lubricate their genitals with chamomile balm to prevent (possibly improve) problems with too tight foreskin and pain during erection). Women can experience pain during intercourse due to irritation in the skin and any problems that can come with adhesions due to scarring, but fortunately the mucous membranes are not affected. But, all in all, it is really terrible to have an everyday life characterized by such a troublesome skin condition in the genital area.
This is a typical taboo condition that I had not heard of until a client asked for advice, and I recommended Chamomile Balm because of the symptoms she described. Doctors and gynecologists usually prescribe cortisone for this condition (which is strong stuff with content that one should be careful with, in my opinion), and the client had little effect from the cortisone treatments.
After just a few weeks, I received a very touching response from the young lady, just see here:
Several customers have now received tips about chamomile balm for this horrible skin disease, and thank God, a quick effect on the same problem. I am so incredibly happy that my product can help others so much! A lump in my throat and tears in my eyes, simply 💚
As mentioned, chamomile balm is also very good against sweat, wounds and fungus under the breasts. This may be especially true for those with heavy breasts, but also for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. At the end of my last pregnancy, I myself used a lot of chamomile balm to prevent and improve the problems that came with clammy and warm skin under the breasts. Here I can also recommend my natural deodorants , which help keep the area under the breasts dry and are therefore great for prevention.
Psoriasis
I have received an incredible amount of feedback that Chamomile Balsam helps with psoriasis for many people, now for 18 years. My good friend 💖 (and customer) Wenche has received great help from Chamomile Balsam in particular (but also Calendula and hair serum), on scalp psoriasis and the crusts that come with it. Scalp psoriasis can also be very embarrassing and taboo, especially for women, as hair loss can be a consequence of a larger outbreak.
Dear Wenche with her Chamomile Balm 💖
Chamomile balm is perhaps the product I get the most feedback on when it comes to women's health issues. Another product that also helps a lot is Calendula Balm . Both chamomile balm and Calendula Balm are great for stretch marks, which is something that all women will probably get during their lifetime. We go through a lot with our amazing bodies, with fluctuating weight due to hormones, pregnancies, births and breastfeeding, so stretch marks are bound to appear. If you apply these ointments to your stomach, hips and buttocks, it helps prevent and reduce the appearance of stretch marks, with the help of the nutritious, healthy herbs, which are also super emollient.
🌼 Calendula Balm is also great for sore nipples, when massaging breasts, or use it during pregnancy in the lower abdomen to strengthen the skin before birth. Both Chamomile Balm and Calendula are great for that. It is also a big plus that it is not dangerous for the baby to get Calendula Balm (or our other products) when breastfeeding. Therefore, you can safely apply it to sore nipples during breastfeeding, to add some super nutrition and fast and effective wound healing.
I also get a lot of feedback about its good effect against hemorrhoids, which is not so strange, and is completely consistent with what is written about it. Calendula in herbalism.
❤️Sensual
❤️ Sensuell is a must-have in your nightstand drawer, if you ask me. This is originally an arousing, natural and super healthy lubricant (I think I'll write a newsletter about this soon 😉), but it also has an incredible number of good health benefits.
It's a delicious, smooth, beautifully smooth and aphrodisiac lubricant, oh my!
But, in addition, this product is absolutely fantastic against dry mucous membranes. This is something many women in menopause can experience, but young women also experience this problem. By lubricating yourself with this, it will make the vagina and mucous membranes smooth and comfortable. In other words, it is a product all women should have!
Then there is 🧡 panther balm ! This versatile friend of ours! It is perfect for itching in the lower abdomen, and is very nice to mix with chamomile balm. I also get feedback on this when it comes to hemorrhoids. Panther balm is both warming and cooling due to the combination of herbs, and therefore very good in combination with Sensuell in erotic contexts. It is, as you may know, great for aches and pains, and can therefore also be a lifesaver for menstrual cramps. Apply it where it hurts, and you will notice that it reduces the monthly pain.
Another use of panther balm is very good for is for blocked or ruptured milk ducts in the breast. When massaged, it loosens the blocked and lumpy milk ducts in a fantastic way, and can relieve pain and prevent inflammation. A rather painful, but funny story is when I went on a yoga retreat to, among other things, get away from Jonatan (then almost 2 years old) to stop breastfeeding. My breasts kept bursting after a day, with tighter and tighter milk ducts, and it hurt terribly. Completely desperate, and quite nervous about getting an infection, I sat down topless outside on a rocky outcrop and started massaging, first with Body Balm, then with Panther Balm – and then it took off! Everything loosened, and in short: I sprayed the rocky outcrop! 😂😂 Surely disgusting to read for many, but so what.? That's life 😂 By the way, Jonatan ended up sucking on my breast when I got home, and the lucky pig still gets milk 😂
Then it was breast massage!
When I was 22 years old, I took a breast massage course (yes, you read that right) where I learned Ayurvedic massage techniques (from the same amazing Devika, who held the yoga retreat where Svaberget bathed in milk 😂). This breast massage involved massaging the breasts in circles, 36 times on both sides. This is supposed to help tighten and lift the breasts, and also helps prevent diseases that may occur.
But, the most important thing first and foremost, I think, is that we women should simply touch our own breasts more. Not just in the shower to feel for abnormal lumps (important!), but massage our breasts and see them as just as important a part of the body to care for and take care of as any other place. How often have we heard that? Almost never?! I want to promote breast massage, get to know our own breasts, stimulate the tissue, the muscles around them, and intensify the massage to include both muscles and lymph outside the breasts.
Unfortunately, many women have experienced difficult and complicated things both physically and emotionally when it comes to their breasts, such as surgery or cancer. Breast massage can also be a good and emotionally relieving experience in these cases. In Ayurvedic Indian medicine, breast massage is promoted for many reasons:
Fantastic if you ask me, and so good to give 5-10 minutes of your day to yourself like this. All the products I have mentioned in this newsletter are fantastic to use for this, but I also want to mention the Wild Herb Body Balm . It is fantastically good and smooth, and contains many herbs that are great for women's health, such as red clover and yarrow from my hills.
Encouragement: Take off your sweater and bra, and start massaging your breasts! 😘 💚
Autumn greetings from Renate
