Or how about some little calendar gift ideas for the young people who absolutely MUST still have a Christmas calendar? 😂 I asked Emil (soon to be 20!) and Ylva (16) if they wanted to skip the Christmas calendar this year. "Oh, no, are you crazy?" 😂 Sure thing! Mom shook her head a little, but then I think it's quite cozy and then (and quite stressful).😂😅

But, in this house, in addition to a few small packages, we have usually had a few simple experiences as part of the calendar. Bonfires in the forest, sledding, delivering gifts and too-small clothes to Fretex or others, reading a book together, etc. That way, an advent calendar is a little less overspending and buying useless things, and you get to feel the joy of both receiving, giving, and being together in the busy pre-Christmas period.
