Sea buckthorn – in my orange heart!! 🧡

Sea buckthorn – in my orange heart!! 🧡

What a wonderful bright orange powerhouse sea buckthorn is! Even scientists rave about this plant, just check the headline of a study from a few years ago: ABUNDANCE OF ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IN SEA PEACH OIL!

And that's exactly it! There is actually A LOT of superfoods in these berries, and they have so many benefits for the skin and body that now sea buckthorn MUST get its own focus here! 🤩

Here we indulge ourselves daily with super popular Sea buckthorn and nettle which gives such supple, soft, close skin, and best of all: AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC GLOW! ✨ And then fewer lines and pimples and stuff.
Sea buckthorn and nettle in production and final product🟠 Sea buckthorn is a shrub/small tree that grows wild in Norway only around the Trondheimsfjord and a little further north. But, fortunately, there are a few people who have started to cultivate sea buckthorn in Norway, as they have done in Asia, and especially China and Russia for a long time.
In China, sea buckthorn is so popular in skin care products that if you go to a Chinese health food store, you will find around 200 different sea buckthorn products for the skin. It is also called the sacred fruit of the Himalayas. However, in this country this super berry is not that well known yet, but I intend to do something about it! For the recipe!! 🙌🧡 The recipe for a power bomb of vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants! And the recipe for a glow in the skin after using our popular Sea buckthorn and nettle, you will have to search for a long time!

👉 Did you know that a little goes a long way? Pump one pump into your hand, spread over your hands, then onto your face and neck. Enjoy nourished, supple skin, and enjoy the glow! 💫

sea buckthorn and nettleI use organic sea buckthorn oil AND sea buckthorn tincture that I make from berries from Vik in Sogn and Lærdal. Imagine having such super animals near me. LUXURY! 🥰

They also supply sea buckthorn as a gourmet food to great restaurants that of course have knowledge of the plant's culinary power as well 🧑‍🍳 My favorite cake, which makes me weak in the knees from both looking at and eating it, is the Sea Buckthorn Cake at Sirkus Renå in Stavanger. I highly recommend enjoying it there, along with a good cup of coffee ☕️
But, now I'm not going to start drooling over that cake 🤤 but rather concentrate on sharing more about sea buckthorn as a superpower for skin and body!

Sea buckthorn and sun 🌞
It's nothing new that sea buckthorn stands out with its abundance of nutrients! In Russia, they used sea buckthorn for their cosmonauts from the 1940s onwards. Sea buckthorn juice was part of the diet due to its high nutritional content, and sea buckthorn cream was made for their skin to protect the cosmonauts from strong radiation from the sun ☀️

Sea buckthorn has a good effect against radiation damage from the sun and other radiation, and is perfect for use in sun products such as sunscreen and after-sun. The composition of sea buckthorn makes it particularly suitable for preventing sun damage to the skin and for helping to repair skin that has already been damaged by the sun. That's why we naturally have sea buckthorn in Vossabia Sunscreen , and that's why it's a bit yellow-orange and golden. Here, of course, there are only the very best ingredients for sun protection, including sea buckthorn. 🌟 A real luxury sunscreen, if you ask me!

Sea buckthorn is very nutritious and protective ⚔️
This orange power bomb! 🧡 I just love it, and I get all nerdy and excited when I think about all the amazing nutritional content that is in these orange berries. Sea buckthorn is rich in vitamins A, C, K, and E, as well as minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper, and zinc. Sea buckthorn also contains healthy fatty acids, phytosterols, and antioxidants that together protect and renew the skin 🧬

Sea buckthorn oil is particularly rich in palmitoleic acid, which is similar to our own skin fat, and omega 7, which contributes to soft and moist skin. It is also a good source of linoleic acid (LA), an omega-6 fatty acid that helps with acne and psoriasis, and generally supports good skin function 🤩

Ready for a long list of great properties? Yep! Sea buckthorn oil has many amazing properties! It is antibacterial, increases blood circulation, and helps with eczema, psoriasis, and healing damaged skin 🧡 Sea buckthorn is known to reduce lines, wrinkles, acne, pigmentation disorders, dry skin, and irritated skin 🙌 And the feedback we get on Sea Buckthorn and Nettle backs this up 😉

Yes, make jams and jellies 🫙, juices and compotes 🥤, sauces and syrups 🍯, sorbets and ice cream 🍦, cakes and compotes 🥮. Or how about a smoothie 🍹, like this one I made for my good group here:
· 2-3 dl frozen sea buckthorn berries
· 1 bag of frozen mango
· 1 egg
· 2 tablespoons protein powder with vanilla
· 3 cups of organic unpasteurized milk, or organic millet milk or oat milk
· Small handful of mint leaves
Check us out! ✨ Glowing beauties with Sea Buckthorn and Nettle on their faces and Sea Buckthorn Smoothie on their bodies!
