🌼 Chamomile balm
Chamomile is a classic medicinal herb known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties.
It has a very special ability to calm irritated, itchy and sensitive skin , and even animals with sensitive skin tolerate this plant well.
In Chamomile Balm, chamomile provides relief from itching, wounds, inflammation and irritation , and supports the skin's own ability to find balance again. That's exactly why this ointment has become a favorite with many pet owners - used on everything from dog paws and moist skin folds to wound healing and irritation in both pets and livestock .
Chamomile Balm also contains lanolin, which can be helpful for:
- dry, flaky skin
- cracked paw pads
- dry and irritated earlobes
- pressure sores on the elbows of dogs that lie a lot on hard surfaces
- sensitive skin around the rectal area due to prolonged irritation
Combined with chamomile's soothing properties, this makes Chamomile Balm a gentle yet effective choice when pet skin needs extra care 🐾💚

💬 Aina J says:
“I also used chamomile balm on one of my sister's chickens (!). We had a sad experience during the holidays, our dog ran away and bit one of her chickens.
We called the vet and were ready to euthanize the chicken, there was a pretty deep bite in the pompom, but since it was eating/drinking/walking around, we decided to try to care for the wound.
We rinsed it in chamomile water and applied chamomile balm afterwards. We checked several times a day, but there was no sign of infection .
Incredibly, the wound had healed after 2 weeks , and both the hen and we are walking around happily again (I also have a picture of this, but it's not a pleasant sight😅🤢)🙏🐔”

Here on the farm we have also treated chickens with our good natural products. Here an injured chicken received wound treatment with great success with Chamomile Balm.
🌼 Calendula Balm
When it comes to wounds and skin that needs extra support, there is one plant that is mentioned in old herbal books :
Calendula for animals – nature's wound healer
There are many advantages to using Calendula for animals – but there is one thing in particular the flower is known for: wound healing .
Calendula has a long history as one of the most important wound healing herbs in natural medicine . It can be used for cuts, abrasions, minor burns, rashes, sunburn, insect bites , and helps support and promote the skin's own healing process .
Used on:
- Horse : wounds, eczema, after insect bites
- Calves and sheep : wounds on legs and udders
- Dog and cat : eczema and cracked skin

In the barn at my roommate Olav's house, Calendula Balm and Chamomile Balm have a permanent place 🌿
He runs an organic dairy farm with around 80 animals , divided between calves, heifers, castrates and dairy cows, and large animals are constantly being treated with Vossabia's useful herbal ointments, for example on open wounds that are slowly healing on the calves' knees, on inflammations, and for incipient udder ailments.
And he's not the only one. There are now a number of farmers who use Vossabia on their livestock in the same way as Olav, and it always warms my heart .
And it's so good for both farmers and cattle that only healthy things – 100% natural – meet the animal's skin.🌿💚

🐾 Cold cream
There are only good ingredients in our Cold Cream , including lanolin:
Lanolin is a natural fat that resembles the protective layer of animal skin . It is known to bind moisture, soften and repair dry and cracked skin , and both dogs and cats tolerate lanolin well, and so do our pets.

In Cold Cream, lanolin provides effective protection for dry and cracked paw pads, and forms a soft barrier that protects against cold, snow, ice, hot asphalt and rough surfaces .
That's why it's very popular both as a preventative before a walk and as a care after. Perfect for dogs and cats that go outside a lot – especially in the winter.

🐝 Panther balm
Insects, lice, ticks and itching
Many people use Panther Balm on both people and livestock to keep insects away, and it's great that the black box also works so well for animals. Customers report both insect repellent effects and relief if bites have already occurred:
- Many have reported a big change for horses that often get a lot of pain in the summer.
- Dog during tick and flea season: apply a little Panther Balm to the fur around the neck, or on the collar, and the little critters will stay further away .
And then there are those who have tested Panther Balm on aches and pains in animals, with good results.

Natalie: Bought a pack of three products to test it out and I love them!! Feels absolutely amazing on the skin and was good on both big, small and furry ones❤️
