Renate talks about pelvic pain ❤️‍🩹

I want to remove taboos and put healthy care and relief of ailments "down there" on the agenda again, for the simple reason that there are so many people who struggle with various ailments in the labia, clitoris, vagina, anus... We are talking about itching, burning, thin, fragile and stiff skin, and other symptoms that many people invisibly struggle with.

Anointing for your Holy Grail!

I have written about the genitals before, but now it is time to lift up and bring forth our Holy Grail! 💚 I want to remove taboos and put healthy care and relief of ailments "down there" on the agenda again, for the simple reason that there are so many who struggle with various ailments in the labia, clitoris, vagina, anus.. We are talking about itching , burning , thin fragile and stiff skin , and other symptoms that many people invisibly struggle with . This of course affects how you feel, and it affects your sex life and intimacy.💝 So, there are quite a few extremely good reasons to talk a lot and often about this. 💬🗣

The lower abdomen was also a constant topic at the large market Kjerringtorget where several ladies came and told how incredibly good help and relief they had received with Kamillebalsam and Sensuell for skin and mucous membrane problems in the lower abdomen. It is so touching and fantastic to hear, and such stories, over the table at the market, confirm what many others write and tell about.

This need to inform became even stronger when I received an email this weekend from a woman who had been recommended by a gynecologist at the hospital to use white petroleum jelly on her fragile mucous membranes in her lower abdomen (due to the Licehn Schlerosus disease). White petroleum jelly is extremely refined and made from waste products from the crude oil industry (it is a petrolatum), it is cheap, glides well, blocks air and liquid, and is well suited for use in the automotive industry and for lubricating mechanical parts. But, maybe we shouldn't use waste products from the crude oil industry IN THE ABDOMEN?? Or on the body at all? I consider it a pretty big advantage that my skin can breathe.

One of the reasons why Vossabia became more than a hobby was precisely to offer cosmetics that do not contain mineral oils/petrolatum/waste from the crude oil industry, but rather thoughtful health-promoting herbs combined with super beeswax (which allowed the skin to breathe and added healthy things as well).🌼💚🐝

So I would like to inform you about some products that customers have reported for years as good helpers for various female ailments in our intimate zones. With fantastic ingredients from the plant kingdom, several of the ointments can improve ailments that affect everyday life and quality of life, self-confidence and relationships.

Many women experience dry, sore mucous membranes, itching, burning, eczema in the genital area, fungus, hemorrhoids, tears in the genital area , or what about the terrible skin disease lichen sclerosus , which unfortunately affects more genitals than we think.

But there is a natural solution for many! 💚

First and foremost, my beloved chamomile balm 🌼

Sometimes I wonder what this is not good for! But, in this context, I want to talk about the good properties it has against vaginal and anal itching, vaginal yeast infection, stretch marks, the vagina before and after pregnancy, heavy and sweaty breasts, and not least lichen sclerosus .

Chamomile is known for its antifungal and anti-itch properties, and our super healthy chamomile balm can be safely used in the genital area 🍑

I have received so many feedbacks from customers telling me how the itching in the lower abdomen has disappeared, and this is something I have experienced myself. At the end of my last pregnancy and after giving birth, I experienced intense itching in the lower abdomen, and it drove me crazy! 😛 Just before I was about to click, I realized that I make products that people use for itching, why don't I use them now? 😂 I threw myself on Chamomile Balm and rubbed it in, and oh my! Then I combined it with Panther Balm, both rubbed around the front and back of my vagina and it worked great with great relief from the crazy itching!

''This is gold!! Highly recommended! I have struggled with a lot of itching in my lower abdomen over the years, and with various treatments that only help a little. For the last 10-15 years I have constantly had to resort to strong cortisone, which is not good. I bought a box of this in the spring of last year, and have not touched cortisone once since. The itching and irritation go away almost immediately, and the skin has also become softer, not tight and irritated anymore. If only I had discovered this sooner :) I will soon have all of Vossabia's products in my closet, and I love them! I will continue to use these.''

Chamomile Balm (and Calendula Balm and Body Balm ) is also good for preventing cracks during childbirth: apply this well and often during pregnancy, so your vagina is prepared for anything and everything. I would also dare to say that Chamomile Balm is the main reason why I have not cracked during any of my three births. And, if you have vaginal yeast infection, this can be safely used both externally and internally, it has certainly helped me against annoying vaginal yeast infection.

Lichen sclerosus

A terrible skin disease that most often affects the skin in the genital area with intense itching, skin that becomes thinner, stiffer and gradually curls up like thin cigarette paper. Women often get severe itching on the labia, clitoris and around the anus, while men (who yes, can also get this), experience changes in the skin on the penis head and foreskin (so I also recommend that men lubricate their genitals with chamomile balm to prevent (possibly improve) problems with too tight foreskin and pain during erection). Women can experience pain during intercourse due to irritation in the skin and any problems that can come with adhesions due to scarring, but fortunately the mucous membranes are not affected. But, all in all, really terrible with an everyday life characterized by such a troublesome skin condition in the genital area.

This is a typical taboo condition that I had not heard of until a client asked for advice many years ago, and I recommended Chamomile Balm because of the symptoms she described. Doctors and gynecologists usually prescribe cortisone for this condition ( which is strong stuff with content that one should be careful with , in my opinion), and the client had little effect from the cortisone treatments.

After just a few weeks, I received a very touching response from the young lady, just see here:

''Hi again, just wanted to give you another fantastic feedback on chamomile balm!! 😄 After using it for less than three weeks, I am, as of today, symptom-free. Absolutely amazing!! I just hope it continues without major relapses, time will tell, but so far better than I dared to hope for. Thank you so much for a fantastic product. I have used almost the entire box and have to order a new one next week, but it is worth so much to get rid of cortisone!''

And then there was someone else who told about Chamomile Balm under the breasts:

''Hi, I've been using chamomile balm against fungus under my breasts, after applying it 2 nights in a row it was gone, absolutely incredible! 😍 It's good to not have to use drugs, it feels better to apply nature to your body 🌸♥️ Now I'm going to try panther balm against hemorrhoids, which came after constipation at the beginning of pregnancy, and the birth 🥰 ''

And then I have to mention the delicious SENSUELL!

❤️ Sensuell is a must-have in your nightstand drawer, if you ask me. This is originally an arousing, natural and super healthy lubricant (check out the blog post about it 😉), but it also has an incredible number of good health benefits.

It's a delicious, smooth, beautifully smooth and aphrodisiac lubricant, oh my!💝
But, in addition, this product is absolutely fantastic against dry mucous membranes. This is something many women in menopause can experience, but young women also experience this problem. By lubricating yourself with this, it will make the vagina and mucous membranes smooth and good.
In other words, it's a product every woman should have!

Then it's 🧡 panther balm then!

This versatile friend of ours!🐝🌼 It is perfect for itching in the lower abdomen, and is very nice to mix with chamomile balm. I also get a lot of feedback on this when it comes to hemorrhoids. Panther balm is both warming and cooling due to the combination of herbs, and therefore very good in combination with Sensuell in erotic contexts. It is, as you may know, great for aches and pains, and can therefore also be a lifesaver for menstrual cramps. Apply it where it hurts, and you will hopefully notice that it reduces the monthly pain.
Another area where panther balm is very good is for blocked or ruptured milk ducts in the breast. When massaged, it loosens the blocked and lumpy milk ducts in a fantastic way, and can relieve pain and prevent inflammation.

A rather painful, but funny story is when I went on a yoga retreat to, among other things, get away from Jonatan (then almost 2 years old) to stop breastfeeding. My breasts kept bursting after a day, with tighter and tighter milk ducts, and it hurt like hell. Completely desperate, and quite nervous about getting an infection, I sat down topless outside on a rocky outcrop and started massaging, first with Body Balm , then with Panter Balm – and then it came off! Everything came loose, and in short: I sprayed the rocky outcrop! 😂😂 Probably disgusting to read for many, but so what.? Such is life 😂 By the way, Jonatan ended up lifting himself right up on his boob when I got home, and the lucky piglet got milk until he was over 3 years old 😂

Have you tried any of the products on specific skin conditions? It would be great to hear your thoughts and experiences!
